What is a champagne walker?

A champagne walker is a performer wearing a strolling table, usually as a large skirt or illuminated frame, that holds glasses of champagne, cocktails, canapés or favours. They glide through the crowd serving guests as they go.

LED versions light up a dark room and look spectacular on camera. They turn the welcome drink into the first moment of the show and work beautifully with Gatsby, Parisian and winter themes.

Tips from our team

1
Agree drinks with the venue
Most venues supply and pour the drinks. We agree how the tables are filled and topped up.
2
Go LED for the evening
Illuminated tables are at their best once the lights go down.
3
Clear the route
A strolling table needs space to move, so keep walkways clear during service.

On our list, Rainton Meadows Arena (up to 1500 guests), Newcastle Marriott Hotel Gosforth Park (up to 600 guests) and Newcastle Marriott Hotel MetroCentre (up to 400 guests) can take 400 or more guests. Tell us your venue and numbers and we will plan champagne walkers around the space.

Many hotels and country houses have rules on ceiling rigging, fire, access times and changing space. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check everything before we confirm.

How much do champagne walkers cost in South Shields?

There is no fixed price. Every event is different. Prices depend on the acts, the number of performers, timings, travel and location, so we quote each booking individually. As early as you can. Friday and Saturday dates in December and the summer months go first, often months ahead. Short notice is sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.
