Glastonbury venues and mermaids

Glastonbury sits in Somerset, 22 miles south of Bristol. Whether your event is in a hotel, a marquee or your own garden, we plan mermaids around the space, the timings and the guests.

Bookings from Shepton Mallet, Langport and Highbridge and the rest of Somerset are just as easy. Travel for mermaids is included in your quote, so the price you see is the price you pay.

One thing we always check for events in Glastonbury: check the pool rules. In-water performances depend on the venue's rules and pool safety. We check first.

What does a mermaid performer do?

Mermaid performers wear full mermaid tails and costumes and pose, interact and create photo moments. Some perform on a set or by a pool, and some in water where the venue allows it.

They are the centrepiece of under-the-sea themes and a magical surprise at pool parties, summer events and launches.

Frequently asked questions

Do venues around Glastonbury have rules for performers?

Many hotels and country houses have rules on ceiling rigging, fire, access times and changing space. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check everything before we confirm.

How much do mermaids cost in Glastonbury?

There is no fixed price. Every event is different. Prices depend on the acts, the number of performers, timings, travel and location, so we quote each booking individually. Travel is part of the quote, and Glastonbury is 22 miles south of Bristol. Send us your date and venue for free, no-obligation options.

Which postcodes around Glastonbury do you cover?

All of BA6 and BA16, including Somerset, Butleigh, Baltonsborough, Meare, Street and Walton, plus the rest of Somerset and nearby Shepton Mallet, Langport, Highbridge and Bridgwater.

Can mermaids swim at our venue?

Sometimes. It depends on the pool, safety and the venue's rules, which we check before confirming.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can. Friday and Saturday dates in December and the summer months go first, often months ahead. Short notice is sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.

Can the performers match our theme or brand colours?

Usually, yes. Tell us your theme, colours or brand guidelines and we will suggest the costumes and acts that fit best.

Do you work with our venue and event team?

Yes. We agree access, changing space, timings and any venue rules before the day, and work to your run of show.

Still have questions?

Tell us about your event and we'll come back with options.
