What can a ballerina add to an event?

Event ballerinas are classically trained dancers who bring calm, elegant movement to a room. They can perform short ballet pieces, move slowly through the crowd en pointe, or pose and dance on a small plinth like a figure from a music box.

Costume options include classic tutus, frosted winter looks, mirrored costumes and clockwork-style ballerinas with a turning key. They suit drinks receptions, winter wonderland and Christmas themes, weddings and launches for beauty and fashion brands.

Where it works best

Fashion and beauty launches
Poise and polish for a premium brand.
Music-box moments
A ballerina turning on a plinth as guests pass.
Drinks receptions
Graceful movement while guests mingle.
Christmas parties
A Nutcracker feel for the festive season.
Winter wonderland
Frosted tutus and icy looks.
Weddings
An elegant moment between ceremony and dinner.

Tips from our team

1
Use a plinth for impact
A raised plinth lifts the ballerina above the crowd and makes a natural photo spot.
2
Plan the music
Ballet pieces need their own track. We agree the cue with your DJ or AV team.
3
Give them a suitable floor
Pointe work needs a smooth, clean, non-slip floor. Carpet and grass limit what a dancer can do.

Frequently asked questions

How big are the event venues around New Alresford?

The venues on our list near New Alresford hold up to 350 guests, with Oakley Hall Hotel the largest. For bigger events, organisers often look further across Surrey. We cover them all.

Do venues around New Alresford have rules for performers?

Many hotels and country houses have rules on ceiling rigging, fire, access times and changing space. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check everything before we confirm.

How much do ballerinas cost in New Alresford?

There is no fixed price. Every event is different. Prices depend on the acts, the number of performers, timings, travel and location, so we quote each booking individually. Travel is part of the quote, and New Alresford is 53 miles south-west of central London. Send us your date and venue for free, no-obligation options.

Which postcodes around New Alresford do you cover?

All of SO24, including Winchester, Ropley, Bishop's Sutton and Cheriton, plus the rest of Surrey and nearby Alton, Winchester, Petersfield and Bishop's Waltham.

Can ballerinas perform on carpet?

They can do gentle walkabout and posing, but full ballet pieces need a smooth hard floor or a small dance board.

How long do ballerinas perform for?

Usually in sets with short breaks, as pointe work is demanding. We plan the sets around your timings.

Can a ballerina be styled to our theme?

Yes. Winter, festive, mirrored and garden looks are all popular. Tell us your theme and colours.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can. Friday and Saturday dates in December and the summer months go first, often months ahead. Short notice is sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.

Can the performers match our theme or brand colours?

Usually, yes. Tell us your theme, colours or brand guidelines and we will suggest the costumes and acts that fit best.

Do you work with our venue and event team?

Yes. We agree access, changing space, timings and any venue rules before the day, and work to your run of show.

Still have questions?

Tell us about your event and we'll come back with options.
