Shepton Mallet venues and breakdancers and street dancers

Shepton Mallet sits in Somerset, 20 miles south of Bristol. Whether your event is in a hotel, a marquee or your own garden, we plan breakdancers and street dancers around the space, the timings and the guests.

Bookings from Midsomer Norton, Glastonbury and Wincanton and the rest of Somerset are just as easy. Travel for breakdancers and street dancers is included in your quote, so the price you see is the price you pay.

One thing we always check for events in Shepton Mallet: provide a hard floor. Spins and power moves need a smooth, hard surface. A dance floor or staging board works well.

What happens in a breakdance or street dance show?

Breakdancers and street dancers perform athletic, freestyle routines built on spins, freezes, footwork and power moves, often in a circle with guests gathered round. Crews can also perform tight choreographed routines to a set track.

Shows work as a short, high-energy set, a staged battle between dancers or a workshop where guests learn a few moves. It is a natural fit for brand activations, youth-focused launches, team events and parties with a modern feel.

Where it works best

Weddings
A surprise set to open the dance floor.
Brand activations
Draws a crowd and gets phones out.
Birthdays
A modern show for a milestone party.
Dance battles
Staged battles with guests as judges.
Team events
A short workshop to get everyone moving.
Product launches
Choreography built around a reveal.

Tips from our team

1
Provide a hard floor
Spins and power moves need a smooth, hard surface. A dance floor or staging board works well.
2
Brief us on your music
Crews can perform to their own mix or a track that fits your brand. We share it with your AV team.
3
Leave a clear circle
Breaking needs space around the dancer. We agree the area with your venue.

Frequently asked questions

Do venues around Shepton Mallet have rules for performers?

Many hotels and country houses have rules on ceiling rigging, fire, access times and changing space. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check everything before we confirm.

How much do breakdancers and street dancers cost in Shepton Mallet?

There is no fixed price. Every event is different. Prices depend on the acts, the number of performers, timings, travel and location, so we quote each booking individually. Travel is part of the quote, and Shepton Mallet is 20 miles south of Bristol. Send us your date and venue for free, no-obligation options.

Which postcodes around Shepton Mallet do you cover?

All of BA4 and BA5, including Somerset, Evercreech, Pilton, Wells, Westbury-sub-Mendip and Wookey, plus the rest of Somerset and nearby Midsomer Norton, Glastonbury, Wincanton and Frome.

How much space do breakdancers need?

A clear, hard area for the crew plus room for guests to gather round. Tell us the room and we will confirm.

Can the dancers run a workshop?

Yes. A short session where guests learn a few moves works well for team events and parties.

Can the routine include our branding or product?

Yes. Crews can build choreography around a reveal, a slogan or a product moment.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can. Friday and Saturday dates in December and the summer months go first, often months ahead. Short notice is sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.

Can the performers match our theme or brand colours?

Usually, yes. Tell us your theme, colours or brand guidelines and we will suggest the costumes and acts that fit best.

Do you work with our venue and event team?

Yes. We agree access, changing space, timings and any venue rules before the day, and work to your run of show.

Still have questions?
