Planning hula hoop performers in Truro

Truro sits in Cornwall, 117 miles south-west of Cardiff. Whether your event is in a hotel, a marquee or your own garden, we plan hula hoop performers around the space, the timings and the guests.

Bookings from St Agnes, Falmouth and Newquay and the rest of Cornwall are just as easy. Travel for hula hoop performers is included in your quote, so the price you see is the price you pay.

One thing we always check for events in Truro: leave room to spin. Hoops need a clear circle around the performer, especially with many hoops at once.

What happens in a hula hoop show?

Hula hoop performers combine dance, skill and showmanship, spinning one hoop around every part of the body or dozens at once. Acts can be glamorous, comedic or circus-styled, and LED hoops turn the show into a light display once the room goes dark.

Hoopers can perform a stage set, roam the crowd, or run a short hoop workshop where guests have a go. That makes them a strong choice for family days and summer parties as well as evening events.

Where it works best

LED shows
Glowing hoops once the lights go down.
Circus themes
A classic big-top skill.
Summer parties
Outdoor sets on a lawn or terrace.
Stage spots
A fast, visual set between other acts.
Family days
Hoop workshops for all ages.
Launches
Branded or colour-matched hoops.

Tips from our team

1
Go LED after dark
LED hoops look best in a dim room. Plan them for the evening.
2
Add a workshop
Guests having a go is often the most fun part. Ask us to include a session.
3
Leave room to spin
Hoops need a clear circle around the performer, especially with many hoops at once.

Frequently asked questions

Do venues around Truro have rules for performers?

Many hotels and country houses have rules on ceiling rigging, fire, access times and changing space. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check everything before we confirm.

How much do hula hoop performers cost in Truro?

There is no fixed price. Every event is different. Prices depend on the acts, the number of performers, timings, travel and location, so we quote each booking individually. Travel is part of the quote, and Truro is 117 miles south-west of Cardiff. Send us your date and venue for free, no-obligation options.

Which postcodes around Truro do you cover?

All of TR1, TR2, TR3 and TR4, including St Mawes, Probus, Cornwall, Tregony, Grampound Road and Goonhavern, plus the rest of Cornwall and nearby St Agnes, Falmouth, Newquay and Camborne.

Can guests join in?

Yes. Many hoopers run a short workshop with spare hoops, which works brilliantly at family days.

Do you offer LED or fire hoops?

LED hoops work indoors and out. Fire hoops are outdoor only and need venue approval and a safety plan.

How much space does a hoop act need?

A clear area a few metres across for the main set. Tell us the room and we will confirm.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can. Friday and Saturday dates in December and the summer months go first, often months ahead. Short notice is sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.

Can the performers match our theme or brand colours?

Usually, yes. Tell us your theme, colours or brand guidelines and we will suggest the costumes and acts that fit best.

Do you work with our venue and event team?

Yes. We agree access, changing space, timings and any venue rules before the day, and work to your run of show.

Still have questions?

Tell us about your event and we'll come back with options.
