What is an aerial performer?

Aerial performers are acrobats who perform in the air on equipment like hoops, silks or a lollipop rig. Their routines combine strength, flexibility and choreography, and they are one of the most impressive acts you can book.

Freestanding rigs, such as an aerial lollipop or balloon rig, need no ceiling rigging points, which means aerial can work in far more venues than people expect, indoors and out.

Where it works best

Between courses
A short showpiece at gala dinners.
Circus themes
The centrepiece of a big-top night.
Drinks receptions
Ambient aerial as guests arrive.
Product reveals
A dramatic moment for a launch.
Garden and floral themes
Balloon and floral rigs for a softer look.
Weddings
A moment your guests will film.

Tips from our team

1
Plan the lighting
A spotlight on the rig turns a good act into a showstopper.
2
Rigging points need sign-off
If you want to rig from the ceiling, the venue must confirm rated points. We liaise with them.
3
Tell us the ceiling height
Freestanding rigs need height and a clear footprint. We check the space first.

Frequently asked questions

Do venues around Forres have rules for performers?

Many hotels and country houses have rules on ceiling rigging, fire, access times and changing space. Tell us your venue when you enquire and we will check everything before we confirm.

How much do aerial performers cost in Forres?

There is no fixed price. Every event is different. Prices depend on the acts, the number of performers, timings, travel and location, so we quote each booking individually. Travel is part of the quote, and Forres is 116 miles north of Edinburgh. Send us your date and venue for free, no-obligation options.

Which postcodes around Forres do you cover?

All of IV36, including Kinloss, Moray, Findhorn and Mundole, plus the rest of North Scotland and nearby Nairn, Elgin, Rothes and Fochabers.

Do aerial acts need rigging points?

Not always. Freestanding rigs work in most venues with enough height. If your venue has rated rigging points, those can be used instead.

Can aerial perform outdoors?

Often, yes, on level ground and in suitable weather. We agree a plan B with the venue.

How far ahead should we book?

As early as you can. Friday and Saturday dates in December and the summer months go first, often months ahead. Short notice is sometimes possible, so it is always worth asking.

Can the performers match our theme or brand colours?

Usually, yes. Tell us your theme, colours or brand guidelines and we will suggest the costumes and acts that fit best.

Do you work with our venue and event team?

Yes. We agree access, changing space, timings and any venue rules before the day, and work to your run of show.

Still have questions?

Tell us about your event and we'll come back with options.
